I think you should let it flow; your writing style has always been one where the reader is taken on a journey - even, candidly, your recent fb posts about your parents (still sending lots of love), so just let it out.

5-7 minutes max sounds good to me - otherwise write the length that feels good (< 7 minutes). Love reading your writing.

WELCOME BACK! This was the perfect length. If you're adding in links/videos, then maybe a bit shorter (Kottke-style)

You do you...something I can read in one sitting, like a short story length, would be my own suggestion as a high end for length.

I'm thinking 2 minutes 27 seconds.

How about whatever lets you (ahem) bleed it out on a consistent schedule? I'd like to know that I'm getting a little Bit 'O Ernie every Wednesday afternoon. Length can vary. When I was reading bedtime stories to my daughter, we would read a variable number of chapters every night, depending on how sleepy she was and how long/short/interesting/boring the chapters were. Or think of how 'Tales of the City' was serialized in the newspaper back in the day.

It doesn’t have to be consistent. I mean I will be reading as many as I can, but always depends on what’s going on when I see the email

1 min sounds too short, 5-7 sounds like the max modern attention span, 'follow your flow' sounds like the eternally true measure to follow ;)

Yes, and.

whatever your heart desires. :)

I'll read whatever you write regardless of how long it is so I'm not very helpful lol

Variety is great; I'll read whatever you're laying down. With your first one, I read it while waiting for my test environment to restart.

This about your thoughts. Let loose, man.

I think a variety is good. If I get a newsletter that is longer, I often save it for a longer commute or a time when I have time to read it all.
